Vevela
This week’s pick is a very very busy unit. First off start with a full regular band set up, then add not one, not two, not even three, count em 4 vocalists! Very talented singers I might add from Lalor North Secondary in Melbourne. Vevela as they’re known are kind of a bit like having the original Destiny’s Child line up and then putting Maroon 5 sans Mr Levine in behind them. That’s one hell of a chockers tour bus, and I wouldn’t want to be one of the fellas trying to use the motel loo when the girls whip out the curling wands. But it looks like they’re on their way to that already with a number of shows under their belts, all good fun.
I love it when the girls up front get their Pointer Sisters on and move in unison, albeit in school uniform. Awesome! I like that there’s some musical range on their homepage too, the up dancey number on video and the slower moody ballad on mp3. The production value of what is up is excellent too, you can hear everything. The more the merrier though Vevela, get some more up there! 274 fans putting you in the early 20′s has you threatening at the top of the charts, now take it all the way… in your packed Tarago…
