Workshop & Grand Final Performance
Finally, the moment you have all be waiting for, the official grand final date and competition roll out. Acts from around the country have emailed us requesting we extend the competition. We've listened to you and are happy to announce the official grand final on 10-11 December 2011.
Stage 1
Entries Close at 5:00pm (AEDT) Friday 2 December 2011
At the conclusion of Stage 1, the top 10 will be announced, consisting of the top 8 Acts on the chart and 2 wild cards.
The top 3 Acts for each Big Day Out city are finalised and handed over to the Big Day Out judges for voting.One act from the following regions will be selected to be part of the Big Day Out 2012 line-up in their nearest city; NSW/ACT, QLD/NT, VIC/TAS, SA &WA.
Stage 2
The top 5 Acts will be announced at 5:00pm (AEDT) Sunday 4 December 2011
Our Expert Committee will review the Top 10 and vote for their favourite Act. From these votes the Top 5 will be announced and invited to attend the workshop and grand final performance.
Stage 3
Workshop and Grand Final Performance in Sydney – 10-11 December 2011
Not only will the Top 5 get mentored by some of the best names in the industry, but they will get to perform live in front of a crowd and the MySchoolAct judges.
At the conclusion of the Grand Final Performance all prize winners will be announced. For more info on all the prizes available click here.
