How to score points
Video and Audio Plays - 1 Point
The first time a registered fan plays your Acts Video or audio media, you will be awarded 1 Point. There is no limit to the number of video or audio media you can upload, but you must be logged in for points to be registered.
Comments - 1 Point
The first time a registered fan leaves a comment on your Acts Video or Audio media, you will be awarded 1 Point. There is no limit to the number of comments that a fan can leave on media, but you must be logged in for points to be registered.
SMS Votes - 20 Points
When you register as an act, you will be allocated an SMS Keyword (displayed on your Act profile page). An SMS vote for an Act will award 20 Points. SMS votes are submitted by sending an SMS text message to “1994 4144” with the Acts Keyword in the message. There is no limit to the amount of SMS votes one person can lodge, and the person voting does not need be a registered Fan.
Self-Sponsorship - 250 Points
Each Act has the opportunity to promote its popularity and call out to the local community to provide sponsorship to their work and performances. Each act is has the room for 20 sponsors on their profile page. For every sponsorship space sold, an Act is awarded 250 Points. Funds raised through the Act Self-Sponsorship will go to purchase musical instruments at the Act’s nominated School.
Fan Rankings - See table below
Every Fan has the ability to rank their Top 10 favorite Acts. The higher a Fan places an Act in their Top 10 list, the more points are awarded to the Act. An Acts position amongst fans is dynamic. As each fan adjusts their favourite Act rankings, the Acts points are also being regenerated to suit the changes in fan preference.
